Introduction:
The Mallikarjuna Temple is situated on the Shri Shaila Mountain, on the banks of the Krishna River in the southern part of Andhra Pradesh.
There are two separate temple complexes present inside – one is dedicated to lord Mallikarjuna and the other one to goddess Bhramarambha Devi.
How To Reach:
For reaching Mallikarjuna Jyotirling in Srisailam, Andhra Pradesh, you can either start from Bangalore OR Hyderabad as your Base Location.
From Bangalore:
From Bangalore you can take a KSRTC government Bus from Kempegowda Bus Station or a Tourist Cab to reach Srisailam which will take approximately 10 hours at a distance of 533 kms.
From Hyderabad:
From Hyderabad you can either take a TSRTC government Bus or a Tourist Cab to reach Srisailam which will take approximately 7 and Half hours at a distance of 326 kms.
Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga Temple is at a walkable distance of 750 metres from Srisailam Bus Stand and takes about 10 minutes to reach there.
Stay & Food Options:
You will find many budget friendly Guest Houses or Cottages near the temple at a walking distance, maintained by the Devasthanam Administration.

You will find very limited restaurants nearby the temple serving North & South Indian Dishes.

Morning: 5:30 am To 1:00 pm.
Evening: 6:00 pm To 10:00 pm.
