Another disaster with foreign tourists occurred on Red Sea: while 26 tourists were diving, their boat suddenly sank. At the same time, some see “mystical properties” in the disaster.
According to Egyptian media, the incident occurred on Wednesday off the coast of the resort town of Marsa Alam on the Red Sea in eastern Egypt. On board the boat were 26 foreign tourists, as well as two guides and eight crew members. They were all rescued when their boat sank by the crew of a nearby boat.
According to a security statement, the boat sank fairly quickly while the tourists were diving. The police have already received a statement to the prosecutor's office to investigate the causes of the emergency.
Some sources, however, find “mystical” reasons for the disaster. The fact is that there are practically no strong storms in the Red Sea due to its small width. In addition, in any bad weather, access to the sea for tourist ships is closed. As a result, such incidents are rare in Egypt, especially in the Red Sea region.
