Introduction:

Located on the coast of Saurashtra in Gujarat, Nageshvara Jyotirling has a 25-m tall statue of Lord Shiva along with a large garden and fascinating views of the Arabian sea, making it one of the popular Jyotirlinga temples in India.

How To Reach:

From Somnath you can take a GSRTC or a Private Bus or a direct Train to Dwarka in Gujarat.

The Distance from Somnath is approximately 235 KMS and takes 5 hours to reach Dwarka.

Nageshvara Temple is at 17 KMs from Dwarka Railway Station & Bus Stand and takes about 30 Mins to reach there.

You can find Auto’s or Tourist Cabs just outside the Dwarka Railway Station or Bus Stand.

Stay & Food Options:

My suggestion will be to stay in Dwarka, you can find many budget friendly hotels and restaurants near Dwarkadhish Temple serving Gujarati & Punjabi Thalis & also North & South Indian Dishes.

Temple Opening & Closing Hours:

Darshan Timings are from 6 am To 12:30 pm & From 5 pm To 9 pm.

Traveller Tips:

1. Buses frequency will be very limited on this route from Dwarka Railway Station / Bus Stand to Nageshvara Temple.

2. Stay & Food Options will be very limited near to Nageshvara Temple.

3. From Dwarka you will get Direct Trains or Govt / Private Buses back to Ahmedabad.
