ATOR experts have named the most expensive and cheapest holiday destinations for Russians this summer. The main trend, which was presented at a press conference in TASS by ATOR CEO Maya Lomidze, is that Turkey has entered the list of the most expensive destinations, immediately in the top 5, being in 4th place there. Egypt and the United Arab Emirates were included in the “cheap” list.
“Turkey for the first time this summer entered the top five most expensive mass destinations in terms of the average check per tour. As a result, due to high prices, the dynamics of the summer tourist flow to the seaside resorts of this country turned out to be significantly lower than expected. Nevertheless, Turkey, of course, is now the number 1 destination in outbound tourism in Russia, with an increase in volumes by 2022,” Maya Lomidze explained.
As a result, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt turned out to be the cheapest outbound destinations. The average check for actually sold tours in these directions is a little more than 150 thousand rubles. As for the TOP-5 most expensive, it looks like this:
- Maldives: 392 thousand rubles.
- Cuba: 239 thousand rubles.
- Sri Lanka: RUB 213K
- Turkey: RUB 183K
- Thailand: RUB 176K
All prices are for tours in August.
In Russia, in August-September, the cheapest vacation will be in the Crimea. A weekly tour to the Crimea in August or September costs about 50 thousand rubles for two in the budget and 70 thousand rubles. in the middle price segment.
