New window to the West opens: Russian airline launches flights to Israel, prices and schedule published

The next flight abroad on the Russian “Superjet”, avoiding air sanctions, was announced by the domestic carrier. This statement was made by the IrAero airline, which announced the launch of flights from Moscow, Israel, to Tel Aviv from April 18.

The details are as follows:

  • Three flights are scheduled from Moscow once a week, on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
  • Flights on the route Moscow – Tel Aviv – Moscow.
  • Flights will be operated from Domodedovo Airport

“Due to the fact that domestic short-haul liners Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ-100) have been announced for flights, a technical stop in Mineralnye Vody is provided for on the route. The total travel time, including refueling, will be seven hours and 20 minutes,” the carrier adds.

The prices are considerable, but not crazy: in early April, one person one way will have to spend 50.3 thousand rubles for person. For May more expensive – from 65.4 thousand rubles.
