Russian tourist in Turkey stabbed a confectionery worker to death

A tragic incident occurred in the Turkish resort city of Alanya: a Russian tourist attacked a bakery employee with a knife out of jealousy. The woman was taken to the hospital, the tourist was found and arrested by the police. This was reported by the Sabah portal.

Law enforcement officers registered an emergency in the village of Mahmutlar, 11 km from Alanya last Saturday, April 29. It is known that the 47-year-old Russian sat in a candy store, then got jealous and came into conflict with her. Soon the dispute turned into assault, at some point the man took out a knife and stabbed a 35-year-old woman in the stomach, whose nationality was not reported.

The offender fled the scene, and eyewitnesses called an ambulance and the police . Arriving doctors rendered first aid to the victim and took her to the hospital. The condition of the employee of the confectionery now is unknown. In hot pursuit, the police found the suspect and took him into custody pending trial.
