The Russian airline Red Wings Airlines announced the resumption of the flight program to Istanbul from Ufa, Samara, Chelyabinsk and Vladikavkaz from June 2022.
As the airline explained, the expansion of the flight network is planned for the summer season. Flights will be carried out on domestic aircraft such as Sukhoi Superjet 100, designed for 100 seats.
Air ticket prices are as follows:
- Flights on the route Samara – Istanbul will start from June 6 on Mondays. One-way airfare starts from 14,920 rubles.
- Flights from Ufa to Istanbul are scheduled from June 10 on Fridays. The price of a ticket for one passenger is from 20'410 rubles.
- The flight on the route Vladikavkaz – Istanbul – from June 12 on Sundays, the ticket price starts from 10'345 rubles.
- Flights Chelyabinsk – Istanbul: from 7 June to Tuesdays. The price tag starts from 17'970 rubles.
The minimum fare includes only hand luggage weighing up to 5 kg, luggage will cost the tourist 900 rubles. To enter the territory of Turkey, you must provide a negative PCR test, which was done no more than 72 hours, or a certificate of full vaccination if 14 days have passed since the second dose of the vaccine. Children under 12 do not need a PCR test.
Given the expansion of the flight program, Red Wings will fly to Istanbul from eight regions of Russia. Direct flights to Turkey's largest city are already operated from Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Zhukovsky and Makhachkala.
