An ancient European monastery where Christian hermits lived. In the 7th-8th centuries, this monastery, which is still active today, was founded at the direction of St. Rupert. The complex includes a cathedral, a wine cellar, a bakery, a chapel of St. Margaret, cemetery, catacombs. It should be noted that the buildings managed to be well preserved, including due to large-scale restoration in the 18th century. Only a small part of the square is open for tourists: a temple, the ceilings of which are decorated with air painting, and an old cemetery. Inside the cathedral there is a marble statue of the Madonna and an altar with the remains of Bishop Rupert.
