< /p> The closure of airports in the south of Russia – as one would expect – has been extended again. This time for another week. According to the statement of the Federal Air Transport Agency, “until 03:45 Moscow time on April 13, 2022, the regime of temporary restrictions on flights to 11 Russian airports has been extended.” Recall that we are talking about the following cities:
- Anapa,
- Belgorod,
- Bryansk,
- Voronezh,
- Gelendzhik,
- Krasnodar,
- Kursk,
- Lipetsk,
- Rostov-on-Don,
- Simferopol,
- Elista.
“Russian airlines are recommended to organize the transportation of passengers on alternative routes using the airports of Sochi, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol and Moscow”, – they add in the Federal Air Transport Agency.
Tour operators are already noting that, according to the “everyday estimates” of tourists, the opening of airports can not be expected at least until May, at a maximum – until the summer season. And this is already affecting the demand for domestic tours. Thus, the demand for the Crimea dipped by about 35% compared to last year. But due to the open airport, Sochi wins, and so it did not complain about demand.
