The German tourist distinguished himself with the original legal claim against the hotel in Menorca. He stated that he arrived at the resort and could not have that sex, moreover, according to the tourist, it was the fault of the hotel. For which he sued the hotel – and was surprised by his verdict.
The tourist's complaint was as follows. He stated that he was never able to have sex in the hotel room where he and his companion stayed in Menorca. The reason was that the room did not have a double bed, but two single beds that were not connected to each other. “Due to the slippery tiles, the beds moved apart with every slightest movement, which made harmonious intimate communication impossible,” the German press quoted the tourist’s complaint as saying. For this, upon returning to Germany, he sued the hotel, demanding compensation.
The District Court of Mönchengladbach, a city in western Germany, in North Rhine-Westphalia, considered the complaint of the “victim”. And he delivered the following verdict: it was the fault of the tourist. And you can also have sex in a single bed “to everyone's satisfaction.”
Russian courts have not yet met with such claims. Although sometimes the requirements of tourists that have reached the court are also distinguished by their “originality”. Recall that one of the tourists decided to receive compensation of 27 thousand rubles for “poor-quality rest” – he did not like that the doors in the four-star hotel room were hard to close – read the details here. Another couple of tourists who were forced to change their vacation in Egypt – even at the time of its first closure – to vacation in Turkey, “sued” the country and the tour operator for the cold sea. Also unsuccessfully (read here).
