The name of this place came from the name of Emperor Bao Dai, who used it as his summer residence. The villas remained in this status for many more years. This contributed to the fact that both the buildings themselves and the park remained in good condition.

The complex is currently open to tourists. Everyone can visit the museum, restaurant, park and beach. In addition, vacationers have the opportunity to stay in a comfortable hotel.

This explains the impressive size of the cathedral and its monumentality. On the island, representing the body of a turtle, there is an 18th century Jade Mountain Temple, to which a classic Vietnamese bridge crosses the waters of the lake. On the other island, representing the head of a turtle, the Turtle Tower of the late 19th century was erected, which was built by one noble person to bury his father's ashes in it. The graceful tower is especially transformed in the evenings, when the fascinating illumination lights up in it.
